While we're having a blast, our real "end zone" is ending food insecurity in our community. The Empty Bowl is a powerful national movement designed to shine a light on hunger. The name serves as a reminder of the "empty bowls" many of our neighbors face every day. By joining our roster, you are helping us turn empty bowls into full ones in Bastrop County.

Our team has been working hard on the field! In 2025, BCEFP achieved some incredible numbers in the fight against hunger: 

• 5,385 Neighbors Served
• 528,046 Pounds of Food Distributed

Every ticket you purchase acts like a touchdown, providing the essential funding needed to keep our operations running and our shelves stocked for the next season. 

The Playbook: What to Expect

We've assembled an All-Star lineup for your afternoon: 

• The Starting Lineup (Local Chefs): Sample a gourmet roster of delicious soups prepared by the best local chefs in the area. Four categories: broth-based, cream-based, chili, and stew. 
• The MVP Award (Fan Favorite Vote): Our professional judges will crown the official champions, but YOU are the most important part of the officiating crew! You'll get to cast your vote for your favorite soup.
• The Prize Zone (Auction & Raffle): Don't get sidelined! Bid on incredible items in our silent auction and enter our high-stakes raffle. 
• The Halftime Show (Live Music): Enjoy live entertainment that will keep the energy high all night long.
